Before scheduling a session
Welcome. Thank you for taking a few moments to read through this information before we schedule your session.
It is important that you read this so that you have a sense of the style of bodywork I offer, what makes it unique, and what you can expect during our time together. My hope is that this helps you arrive feeling informed, comfortable, and able to relax into the experience.
The work
My work is inspired by Phenomenal Touch, a flowing and integrative style of bodywork that combines massage, movement, breath awareness, and deep listening to the body's natural rhythms. Rather than following a fixed routine, each session begins with a brief check-in and unfolds in response to your unique needs.
What to expect
Unlike traditional massage, this work may include rocking, stretching, supportive holding, cradling, embracing, and moments of stillness. I may use my hands, arms, torso, or legs to support, stabilize, or create therapeutic contact as part of the bodywork.
People often describe this work as deeply nurturing and restorative, leaving them feeling more relaxed, supported, connected to themselves, and at ease in their bodies.
There is no right way to receive
Breath, sound, movement, and emotional expression are welcome. There is no right way to receive this work and no expectation that you perform, participate, reciprocate, or respond in any particular way.
This work is an invitation to receive.
Your comfort, choice, and consent
Your comfort, choice, and consent are central to every session. You are encouraged to communicate your preferences, needs, and boundaries at any time. Any technique may be modified, declined, or discontinued at your request.
While this work may feel deeply caring and relational, it is offered within a clear and professional, non-sexual therapeutic container. My intention is to provide a safe and supportive space where your experience can unfold naturally while honoring informed consent, mutual respect, and ongoing communication.
I look forward to sharing this work with you.
With care,
Jennie
